GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO

The famous and haunted Hotel Colorado opened in 1893 and has served guests like Theodore Roosevelt, William Taft, Molly Brown, and Al Capone. It was also converted to a Naval Hospital at one point and had a morgue in the basement which we found.

Our room 554. Most of the paranormal activity has occured on the 5th floor especially three doors down in room 551.

Room 551 at the end of our hall and the door to the attic across from it. Room 551 is known for new wallpaper repeatedly being removed from the wall and rolled up nicely and laid on the bed the next morning back in 1982.

These stairs go up to the attic room which was Molly Brown's suite and has recorded high spirit activity.

View from our room

One of the fireplaces in the lobby

Ancient but still functional furniture. The lobby has an old musty odor.

Another lobby fireplace. Kind of looks like the haunted mansion at Disneyland.

Front desk which is still in use. I took this picture late at night so no one was there.

Two large cash registers for display only

One of the conference rooms. There are reports of guests seeing a little girl in a Victorian dress playing with a ball in this hallway.

Glenwood sulfur hot springs pool. Presleigh, Ellie, Hailey, and Cole.

Hike along the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon.

We found a cool remote section up one of the Colorado River tributaries.
